Big power delivered smoothly has always been a big Ninja hallmark, so the changes for 2012 begin in the new ZX-14R’s engine bay. First off, there’s more displacement via a 4mm stroke increase; to 65mm (up from 61mm), with displacement now registering 1441cc (up from 1352cc). Combustion chamber shapes are newly optimized for 2012, and they’re surface-milled now, not cast. Intake ports are reshaped and polished for maximum flow while working in concert with longer and more durable intake valves. Yep, the new Ninja ZX-14R Special Edition really does come “ported” right from the factory. The camshafts working those valves are more radical, with increased lift and revised profiles, while a stronger cam chain and revised tensioning system maximize reliability at the stratospheric rpm levels this engine is capable of. Newly designed forged pistons with thinner crowns offer increased durability and less weight, and are cooled by a new oil-jet cooling system that pumps a continuous stream of lubricant at the underside of each piston. (Testing shows the engine runs considerably cooler with this system.) There’s more: Compression is up from last year; connecting rods have beefier small ends, and are made of a stronger material; crankshaft main journals are thicker, from 38 to 40mm; a new air-cleaner element is larger and thicker, with 10% more surface area and 40 percent more airflow capability; and transmission gears have been heat- and surface-treated to be even more durable and shift more smoothly.

Benelli TNT 1130 Sport Evo: Configuración de primera

La Benelli TNT 1130 Sport Evo es, desde cualquier punto de vista, una moto con un diseño llamativo, agresivo y muy espectacular, del todo acorde con sus prestaciones. Si la primera TNT ya no dejaba indiferente a nadie por su descarada personalidad, esta versión la supera con creces gracias a sus nuevas y más deportivas combinaciones de colores y a ciertos detalles que denotan su espíritu más guerrero todavía.De entrada, el chasis multitubular de acero al cromo molibdeno es de un color rojo mucho más vistoso, pero claro, no tanto como el basculante oscilante, de tubos de acero también rojos y con unos tensores muy originales que atrae las miradas de los moteros más curiosos. Otros detalles donde los ojos tienden a irse son los radiadores laterales, poco o nada habituales en otras monturas, al igual que las aletas o las pequeñas semiquillas, ausentes en la primera TNT.

Vista de frente, su mirada tan característica viene perfectamente acompañada por un equipamiento de lujo en toda la zona delantera, como las horquillas invertidas Marzochi de 50mm de diámetro y de cobre amarronado, por supuesto regulables en extensión, compresión y precarga, o las pinzas Brembo de anclaje radial y cuatro pistones, punto distintivo en la Sport Evo y que muerden con determinación los dos discos flotantes delanteros de 320mm. Otro detalle destacable en esta versión deportiva de la TNT es el parabarros delantero de fibra de carbono, material igualmente presente en el trasero y que no puede faltar en motos de la categoría de esta Benelli.Otros componentes muy cuidados son el cuadro de instrumentos, con toda la información necesaria y de fácil lectura, el manillar a juego con las horquillas o el asiento bicolor con la palabra Sport grabada en él.

El tren trasero garantiza máximo rendimiento gracias a un monoamortiguador trasero Sachs completamente regulable y a su basculante tan especial. El freno se confía a un disco de 240mm con pinza de dos pistones, opción muy extendida en motos de su categoría, en su mayoría deportivas puras y no nakeds tan salvajes como la TNT Sport Evo. Quizá las más directamente comparables son la Brutale de MV Agusta o a la recién presentada Streetfighter de Ducati, que viene a ser una 1098 sin carenado.No me olvido del precioso colín, liderado por la salida central del escape acompañada por los pilotos traseros, situación un tanto atípica. Me consta que el sufrido acompañante las verá de todos los colores no sólo por la posición forzada que adoptará, sino por el calor que dicho escape emite. Además, las discretas agarraderas no son del todo prácticas ya que buscan ante todo no romper el cuidado diseño. Ya se sabe, o una cosa o la otra…

One of the most unique-styled motorcycles in recent memory, the Benelli TnT 1130 was a factory supernaked dominated by a torquey triple that produced 130 hp and 86 lb-ft. As Bennetts summed it up, “If you are into your quirky machines, the TNT 1130 should tick all your boxes. It’s as wild to ride as it is to look at and while spares are tricky to locate, and the dealer network limited, if you look after a TNT it is actually quite a reliable and oddly appealing bike.”

The model was introduced in 2005, though Benelli quickly split the model up with variants that included a Cafe Racer, Titanium, and the Sport – they introduced the Sport Evo in 2007 and set it off with “Sport” on the seat and “Evo” on the engine cowl.

The Sport Evo came with fully-adjustable Marzocchi front forks, fully-adjustable Sachs rear shock, OZ wheels, and Brembo radial brakes.

This example (VIN: ZBNTNTNT88P100389) is offered by the second owner. He acquired it approximately six years ago from a private party in San Diego, who originally acquired it to “keep his Ferraris company.”

Per the seller, the original owner put 681 miles on it however the “bike scared him” so it spent most of its time parked “with his mechanic coming by and firing it up once a week or so.” The seller has covered approximately 1,100 miles with it, and the odometer now shows 1,795 miles. Please note that this TnT suffers from a common issue with Benellis of the time – some of the numbers on the dash are very faint. The seller includes an “off-angle photo where you can see the 5 to some degree, as well as the start-up procedure on the dash where all the digits are supposed to be illuminated and clock to show that digit not working.”

The bike is said to be in almost perfect condition with two scuffs on the right side, one on the engine and one on the lower cowl. The cause of these blemishes is unknown.

There are several upgrades, including carbon fiber bodywork throughout.

The seller states that the “maintenance is up to date, but hasn’t been extensive given the low mileage.” At 1,200 miles it got an oil change, fluid flush, and the secondary air controls were removed. The fuel injection map was also updated as these “Benellis shipped originally with a break in map that ran incredibly rich.” A new battery was installed last month. Lastly, “the secondary butterflies in the airbox have been removed, as is typical for these bikes.” He reports that there are no mechanical issues. This bike is currently in Lancaster, California and it is offered with a clean California title. It is currently registered as non-op and does not have any back fees due.

Been mulling for a good while to pep up my zsb 125 thru ecu with kinda reflash but couldnt find any store would help me until i stumbled across this magna tuner in google shopping. These guys were amazing and shipped this race chip from dtock. Install was easy and adjustmant took less than an hour or so. I didn’t expect a horse kick but results surprised me, My only complaint it doesn’t help you hit more speed but been told this is due to kinda rev limiter employed by lexmoto. Recommended.

La historia de Benelli es de esas que merecen un capítulo aparte por incluir en sus páginas algo más que cantidades desmedidas de pasión, triunfo y gloria por un lado y sufrimiento, trabajo, y vaivenes de toda clase por otro, y es que a lo largo de casi cien años se ha mantenido a flote gracias al amor que muchos han sentido, y sienten, por esta marca tan legendaria y familiar.Todo empezó cuando Teresa, mujer viuda y madre de los seis hermanos Benelli, tuvo que sacrificar gran parte del capital familiar para dar cierta estabilidad laboral a algunos de sus hijos. Fue en Pesaro, en 1911, cuando fundó la Oficina Mecánica Benelli, inicialmente pensada para pequeñas reparaciones pero que en poco tiempo empezó a fabricar motores propios. El primero fue un monocilíndrico de 74cc que estuvo listo hacia 1920 y que se acoplaba en bicicletas, aunque necesitó ganar, un año después, algo de cilindrada hasta llegar a los 98cc y dar vida a la primera moto de producción propia. De aquí en adelante todo empezó a ir bien, con el menor de los hermanos, Antonio, más conocido como Tonino “el terrible”, cosechando importantes éxitos deportivos montado en su temida monocilíndrica de 175cc y extendiendo, gracias a ello, la reputación de la marca a lo largo y ancho de Europa.

A pesar de la trágica muerte de Tonino mientras probaba una moto en 1937, los triunfos deportivos no cesaron, y fue con la irrupción de las competitivas y económicas motos japonesas que llegaron los problemas. La nueva situación comportó algunos cambios de manos dirigentes hasta llegar a las actuales del grupo chino Qianjiang que parecen, esta vez sí, aportar la estabilidad económica necesaria para mantener viva una leyenda del motociclismo como es la marca de Pesaro.En definitiva, una marca pequeña y familiar que las ha visto de todos los colores y que ha concebido pepinazos tan llamativos como la Sei 750, una joya de seis cilindros y tres trompetas a cada lado que emite música de la buena (te recomiendo sinceramente escucharla en youtube), por no hablar de su actual aventura en el mundo del off-road con la BX, una monocilíndrica de 450cc y unos 60cv que dará guerra.Con esto, ahora sí es momento de ver la TNT (Tornado Naked Tre) 1130 Sport Evo, una naked de las gordas que emana belleza, agresividad, y carácter y que, como buena italiana, es realmente efectiva pero que exige todos los sentidos para dominarla como es debido.
